Michael Wood

Michael Wood, CEng FIChemE, currently serves as the Chief Process Engineer at Innospec Inc. since October 2013, where previous roles included Dept Chief Process Engineer, Principal Corporate Process Engineer, and Site Projects and Process Engineer. Prior experience includes serving as a Process Safety Technologist at Akcros Chemicals Ltd., focusing on plant design and project engineering, as well as developing site standards for process safety from April 2010 to October 2013. Michael Wood also worked as a Technology Specialist at BASF from September 2008 to April 2010 and at Ciba from September 2000 to September 2008, where responsibilities included process development and optimisation of various chemistries and technologies. Michael Wood holds a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from The University of Huddersfield.
