Bas van den Heuvel

Bas van den Heuvel has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Bas started their career as a Management Consultant at BOC Edwards Pharmaceutical systems from 2002 to 2003. Bas then worked as an Audit Manager at Trimble Europe B.V. from 2003 to 2010. At Watts Industries Europe, they served as the Business Process Manager EMEA, focusing on process redesign, integration, and ERP system implementation from 2010 to 2011. In 2015, they joined ZENS Wireless Charging as the Director of Smart Environments, where they played a crucial role in developing a user-friendly Smart Office solution for corporate clients worldwide. Bas'sresponsibilities included concept development, privacy and security design, API integration, and certification compliance. Since 2011, they have also been actively involved with Zaak040, where they work on inventing and co-creating using IoT technologies. Currently, they hold the position of Solutions Architect at InnoTractor, starting from August 2020.

Bas van den Heuvel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Bas later pursued another Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, attending from 1998 to 1999.
