Akinyi Omondi Joy

Akinyi Omondi Joy is a quantitative analyst at Innova Limited with a focus on credit risk assessment tools for central banks in Africa. With experience as a quantitative analyst intern, Akinyi successfully improved data quality through R programming and extracted actionable insights from financial data. Prior to that, Akinyi served as a data liaison at Agricycle Global, where data cleaning and visualization facilitated informed decision-making for stakeholders. Akinyi also interned as a statistician at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics, enhancing the accuracy of government financial statistics. Akinyi is currently pursuing a Master of Economics (Finance) at Kenyatta University, having previously earned a degree in Economics and Statistics from Mount Kenya University.
