Hondo Sen is a Partner at Athyrium Capital Management where he focuses on growth equity, private equity and special situations investing across the healthcare ecosystem.
Before joining Athyrium, Hondo spent eight years as a senior investment professional and a founding member of the special-situations / distressed group at Littlejohn & Co. Mr. Sen specialized in investments in control and non-control opportunities and creative financings across a variety of industries. He led all aspects of the firm's investment evaluation process from sourcing to executing to exiting such investments. Prior to this role, Hondo was a Senior Associate in the private equity group at Littlejohn & Co.
Hondo began his career at J.P. Morgan Securities, where he served as a financial analyst in the leveraged finance group. At J.P. Morgan Securities, he was involved in a variety of transactions, including leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and corporate restructurings.
Mr. Sen received an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College.
