Laura Rudolph has a diverse background in fisheries research and data collection. Laura started their career as an Intern at NOAA in 2012, where they assisted with field research on steelhead populations. Laura collected data on fish length and mass, performed scale samples, and tagged fish with PIT tags.
In 2013, Laura joined the California Department of Water Resources as a Fish and Wildlife Scientific Aid. Here, they primarily worked on the Clifton Court Forebay Predation Study, evaluating the behavior of predators of Chinook Salmon. Laura'sresponsibilities included tag programming, data entry, fish husbandry, gill netting, and avian surveys.
Since 2014, Laura has been working as a Staff Scientist at Innovasea. In this role, they are responsible for leading project analysis and fisheries data collection, specifically in hydroacoustic and acoustic telemetry studies. Laura'sduties include quality-control and review of processed research data sets, database management, supervision of data entry technicians, and monitoring data collection equipment operations at various field stations around the world.
Laura Rudolph completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2008 to 2012.
