Director Of Customer Success, Fish Tracking at Innovasea

Stephanie Smedbol has a diverse work experience in various roles within the fields of fish tracking, customer success, technical marketing, and aquaculture research. From 2001 to 2005, they worked as an Aquaculture Research Technician at Fisheries and Oceans Canada. In 2010, they joined VEMCO as an Aquatic Tracking Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Technical Marketing Engineer, where they worked until 2017. Stephanie then joined Innovasea in 2017 as a Technical Marketing Engineer and eventually progressed to the position of Director of Customer Success, Fish Tracking. In October 2021, they became the Director of Product Management & Customer Success, Fish Tracking at Innovasea. Alongside their other roles, Stephanie also owns and works as a photographer at Stephanie Smedbol Photography since April 2020.

Stephanie Smedbol obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Marine) at McGill University from 1990 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, Stephanie also obtained several certifications including "Financial Accounting: Foundations" from Coursera in March 2017, "Scrum Master Certified (SMC)" from Lean Agile Training in October 2016, and became a Professional Engineer through Engineers Nova Scotia in April 2013.
