Doug Benn

Doug Benn has extensive experience in content production, video editing, and technical roles. Doug is currently the Head of Content & Video Production at Innovate By Day since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head Of Production at the same company starting from September 2017. Before joining Innovate By Day, Doug worked as an Editor & Videographer at the company in January 2016.

Before their time at Innovate By Day, Doug was involved in video editing and directing at Big Benn Productions since January 2002. At Big Benn Productions, they served as a Video Editor starting from April 2008 and also worked as a Director.

Doug's work experience also includes being an Audio Visual Technician at Canada's National Ballet School from September 2011 to August 2015. Doug served as a Head Technician for Special Events at Varsity Theatre from December 2008 to August 2015.

Additionally, Doug worked as a Technical Advisor at Marilyn Benn Consulting from January 2011 to January 2015. Doug also held the position of Client Sizzle Reel Editor at NKPR from June 2010 to April 2011, and as a WSFF Video Podcast Editor at Canadian Film Centre in June 2010.
