Yvonne Bajela

Yvonne Bajela is a Founding Member and Investor at Impact X Capital, an early-stage investment firm. Impact X's mandate is to invest in underrepresented entrepreneurs across Europe and is an important contributor to promoting diversity and inclusion in this industry. In addition to this, she recently had exposure on the FTSE 250 listed, HarbourVest Global Private Equity board and is a Non-Executive Director at City Gateway.

Prior to Impact X, Yvonne was a Senior Investment Manager at Japanese investment giant, Mitsui, where she managed over $200 million in investments. Before becoming a venture capital investor, Yvonne worked as a strategist in various countries including Israel, Kenya and Japan, where she advised fast growing companies on scaling into highly competitive international markets.

As a strong advocate for diversity and the UK fintech sector, Yvonne has been featured in many publications including Forbes, Management Today and The Financial Times. Last year she was listed as a rising star on the Black Powerlist, along with a position on Forbes’ 25 Leading Black British People.
