Nicole MacHado

Nicole Machado is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in social media management and communications strategy. Currently serving as a Social Media Manager at both Innovate UK Business Connect and Innovate UK since October 2023, Nicole previously held the role of Social Media Lead at the Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance until November 2023. Other notable positions include Communications Manager at Impact & Influence, Communications Lead at the University of South Wales Students' Union, and External Relations Officer at the Cardiff PR Society. Nicole's early career featured roles as a Graphic Designer at BCB International Ltd and Photography Specialist at Venture Photography. Nicole holds a Master’s degree in International Public Relations and Global Communications Management from Cardiff University, along with education from the University of the Arts London.
