Richard Foggie

Richard Foggie is a seasoned professional in the electronics and digital innovation sectors, with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Since May 2012, Richard Foggie has held the position of Knowledge Transfer Manager for IoT at Innovate UK Business Connect, where the focus is on fostering connections within the field. Concurrently, Richard Foggie serves as a Director at HoIP CIC, specializing as an innovation broker and collaborations director since July 2011. Previously, Richard Foggie worked as Assistant Director for Electronics Innovation at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills from 2006 to July 2011, and as Head of 'eServices' at the Department of Trade and Industry from 1988 to July 2011, driving initiatives in digital services and technology innovation. Richard Foggie also had a short secondment with EPSRC in 2009-2010, concentrating on economic impact and business engagement, and began a career as a Device Physicist at GEC Research from 1984 to 1986, specializing in III/V optoelectronics.
