Ian McArthur

Ian McArthur, B.Comm., C.Dir., has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Ian is currently a member of the Board of Directors at SaskCentral since April 2021. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at Innovation Federal Credit Union, including Chief People & Governance Officer and Chief People & Development Officer, starting in 2015. Before their time at Innovation Federal Credit Union, Ian worked at SaskCentral as a Manager of Client Relations from June 2006 to April 2015. Additionally, they have experience as a Manager of Relationship Management and Sales at Concentra Financial from September 2003 to October 2005.

Ian McArthur, B.Comm. C.Dir., obtained their Bachelor of Commerce (B. Comm.) degree in Finance and General Business from the University of Saskatchewan in 1997. In 2019, they earned a Certificate in Executive Leadership & General Management from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. In 2021, Ian completed a Certificate in Digital Strategies for Business from Columbia Business School. Currently, they are pursuing a Chartered Director (C. Dir.) Designation from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
