Bill Verhelle

William "Bill" Verhelle is the current CEO of Innovation Finance and was previously the CEO of First American Equipment Finance. Bill has over 19 years of experience in the commercial equipment finance industry. Prior to joining First American, they served as the Chairman of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association.

Verhelle began their career in finance at Harvard Partners LLC. Bill later joined First American Equipment Finance in January 1996 and became the company's CEO in 2000. Bill led the company through its acquisition by City National Bank in 2012 and continued to serve as its CEO until 2015.

During their tenure as CEO, First American was recognized as one of the best places to work in New York State and as one of Fortune Magazine's 20 Great Workplaces in Financial Services. The company was also recognized as one of the top 100 companies in the U.S. for Millennials.

Bill Verhelle has a JD from Cornell Law School, an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, and a BGS from the University of Michigan.
