Juanita Banks

Juanita Banks has a diverse work experience that includes roles as a Technical Support Specialist at Albo, a Program Manager at Innovation Learning & Education, and a Teacher at District of Columbia Public Schools. At Albo, they provided technical assistance, evaluated incoming issues, and maintained records in the incident tracking system. As a Program Manager, they ran Before and After Care programs with a focus on S.T.E.M. education. During their time as a Teacher, they taught 2nd and 3rd grade, prepared lesson plans, delivered instructional materials, and developed assessments in accordance with established standards.

Juanita Banks has a diverse education history. Juanita obtained their Master's degree in Cybersecurity: Cloud Computing Architecture from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2019 to 2023. Juanita also earned a Graduate Certificate in Cloud Networking from the same institution from 2019 to 2021.

Before pursuing their Master's degree, Juanita Banks attended Bethune-Cookman University from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with a Reading and ESOL Endorsement.

In 2016, they completed an Associate of Arts degree in Education from Delaware County Community College.

As for their high school education, Juanita Banks earned a High School Diploma from Oak Ridge High School from 1999 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Juanita Banks has obtained several certifications. Juanita is certified as an Elementary Education K-6 Teacher, ESOL K-12, and Reading K-12 by the State of Florida, which they obtained in August 2017. Juanita also holds a certification as an Elementary School Teacher from the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), obtained in March 2019.
