Kara Hanlon

Kara Hanlon has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Most recently, they worked as the Director of Revenue Operations at Innovation Refunds starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Revenue Integrity at MercyOne from May 2020 to August 2022, where they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Iowa Division Physician Revenue Cycle. Before that, Kara served as the Director of Revenue Cycle at Eyerly Ball Community Mental Health Services from October 2017 to May 2020, and as the Revenue Cycle Manager for the same organization from June 2017 to October 2017. Kara also worked as the Revenue Cycle Manager & HIPAA Compliance Officer at Iowa Ortho from November 2015 to June 2017. In addition, Kara has experience as a Clinic Manager at Primary Health Care, Inc (PHC), where they ensured smooth facility and staff operations and implemented process improvements. Kara has also worked as the North High Girls Soccer Coach at Des Moines Public Schools from January 2011 to November 2015. Kara's previous experience includes roles as a healthcare provider at UnityPoint Health, an Adjunct Professor at AIB College of Business, a Professional Coach at Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club (JUSC), and a Professor of Management at University of the Southwest.
