Max Schulte is an accomplished multimedia news manager and FAA licensed unmanned aerial systems pilot with extensive experience in photography and videography. Currently serving as a Photojournalist, Videographer, and Producer at WXXI Public Broadcasting Council since October 2019, Max has demonstrated expertise in project management, researching, directing, and editing visual content. Previously, Max held the position of Lead Photographer and Assistant Photo Editor at the Democrat and Chronicle from 2006 to October 2019, where responsibilities included managing a substantial technology budget and overseeing a team. Max's career began at the Democrat and Chronicle in 1997 as a Staff Photographer, capturing significant events and contributing to print and digital formats. Max holds a BFA in Photojournalism from the Rochester Institute of Technology and completed drone piloting training with the USA Today Network.
