Benson Saulo

Benson Saulo is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in supporting Indigenous communities and fostering economic independence. Currently serving as the Chairperson of The Torch, Benson is dedicated to enhancing self-esteem and resilience among Indigenous offenders and ex-offenders through the arts. As a Board Member at Innovation Unit, Benson contributes to scaling impactful social innovations. Previously, as Co-Managing Partner and now Strategic Advisor at First Australians Capital, Benson promoted Indigenous business initiatives. Notable past roles include Consul General & Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner at Austrade, Head of Partnerships at Australian Unity, and Treasurer for the Youth Affairs Council Victoria. Benson's advocacy and leadership have consistently focused on empowering Indigenous youth and enhancing their opportunities.
