Andreas Holzinger is IPA's Global Programs Integration and Development Director. He previously served as Country Director for IPA's Francophone West Africa offices (Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, and Mali), and prior to that, as Country Director for IPA's Sierra Leone and Liberia offices. Andreas is a human development specialist with a track record of leading projects, research, and policy advice to governments in West Africa, Europe, and Latin America. Prior to joining IPA, Andreas served in international organizations such as the World Bank Group and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), where he oversaw project portfolios on economic inclusion, protection, and migration. He conducted research projects inter alia for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and enjoys working on innovative policy solutions through human-centered design. Andreas holds Master's degrees from Sciences Po Paris and the Free University of Berlin, having specialized on the security, development, and inclusion policy nexus.
