Andrew Jen

Andrew Jen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and technical leadership, currently serving as a Technical Lead at Innovative Defense Technologies since July 2020. In this role, Andrew has built and led an effective Agile team to deliver a Beta application aimed at government deployment by January 2025. Prior to this, Andrew held positions including Senior Systems Engineer II and Systems Engineer I at IDT, where responsibilities included implementing Agile frameworks, facilitating workshops for user story mapping, and leading efforts in systems modeling and requirements documentation. Andrew's background also includes valuable experience at MITRE and NAVSEA, focusing on systems performance, project leadership, and mechanical engineering, complemented by advanced degrees in Systems and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and Cornell University.
