Cindy Cavan has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Cindy began their career at Lockheed Martin- Integrated Systems & Solutions in 2000, where they participated in the Finance Leadership Development Program and worked as a Program Finance manager for Defense Messaging Systems. Cindy later served as the Financial Planning & Analysis Lead for the Intel & Homeland Security Business Unit. From 2006 to 2008, they held the position of Acting CFO and Deputy Finance Lead at Lockheed Martin- MS2, specifically for the Integrated Coast Guard Systems. In 2009, they became the Finance Lead for Nanotechnology New Ventures within the same company. In 2010, they joined Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) as the Director of Finance. Cindy was promoted to the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2020, where they currently serve. Prior to their role at IDT, they also held the position of CFO for a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation dedicated to nanotechnology development and commercialization.
Cindy Cavan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Virginia Tech in 2000. Cindy further pursued their education and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Marymount University between 2006 and 2008.
