Afzal has held leadership roles as General Manager at both Innovative-e, Inc. and Innovative-e (Pvt) Ltd from October 2006 to September 2020, as well as serving as QA Manager at Virtusa from 1996 to 2003. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information Systems from the Informatics Institute of Computer Studies, completed between 1994 and 1998, along with foundational education at Trinity College Kandy from 1984 to 1993.
