John Wilberger

John Wilberger is the Director of Vendor and Purchasing Services and the Director of the General Services / Risk Management / Facilities departments for IEM. He has been an advocate for the home school and independent study movement since its inception and began homeschooling his children in 1989. John oversees the Vendor Relations and OML department as well as administering the workers’ compensation and commercial package insurance policies for IEM and the IEM schools. In addition, John is responsible for the risk management, safety and support services including the oversight of all contracts for the organization. John has contributed his expertise in many areas since 2001, which includes executive administrative leadership teams, Human Resources, played a pivotal role in (4) successful charter renewals as District Liaison and is currently overseeing the CHRIS Project. Prior to coming on board with IEM, John spent 17 years with NEC Electronics, Inc., as a manager.
