Joe Somerville

Joe is currently responsible for delivery of all system consulting and technical services along with playing a support role for project delivery services. Joe has performed this role since 2014. Since 2001, Joe has served as a senior consultant and principal consultant implementing IMS’ solutions. Additionally, Joe is arguably one of the most experienced implementers of Primavera P6 on the planet, and has trained thousands of professionals.

A small sampling of Joe’s engagements include: DTE, Polaris, HP, INEOS, CSX, Jacobs, Manhattan Construction, Mass Electric, APS, Syngenta, NiSource, Hess, BP, Kansas City Southern, Google, Unisys, City of Corpus Christi, Chickasaw Indian Industries, BNSF, National Oilwell Varco, BWXT PANTEX, Idaho National Laboratory, Spaw Glass, Beck, Primoris, Carter Burgess, Schlumberger, Missouri City, James Construction, Sam Houston State, Webber, US Coast Guard, Veterans Administration, and many more.

Prior to joining IMS, Joe was an IT Project Manager for Inteliant, BP and The Harbour Group, where he managed IT Infrastructure and ERP system implementations.

Joe spent nine years at Rockwell International, where he managed the Earned Value Management Systems for three divisions and four operating locations. During his tenure, he was responsible for maintaining legacy systems, development of a next generation system and ensuring that the related management processes were followed by company management. He also managed project controls during the start-up of new projects.
