Ben Jackson

Ben Jackson is an accomplished professional in the payments industry with significant leadership experience. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at the Innovative Payments Association since August 2017, Ben provides information, advice, and advocacy to enhance the financial operations of diverse companies. Prior to this role, Ben was with Mercator Advisory Group, where positions included Prepaid Research Director and Senior Market Research Analyst, focusing on payments industry insights. Earlier in their career, Ben operated as an independent consultant and held editorial roles at Source Media and American Banker, alongside experience as a Municipal Bond Fund Analyst at Federated Investors. Ben holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
