Jorge Betancourt

Jorge Betancourt is a research engineer currently employed at Innovative Scientific Solutions, Inc. since August 2023. Previously, Jorge held multiple roles at the University of Cincinnati from May 2020 to August 2023, including research assistant, teaching assistant, and student research worker. Jorge also gained experience as a co-op at the University of Cincinnati Simulation Center and served as the simulations team lead for both Fly UC and Hyperloop UC from February 2018 to October 2019. During this time, Jorge managed a team conducting structural and fluid analysis, instructed new members in Finite Element software, and conducted Finite Element Analysis for innovative aircraft designs. Jorge's engineering background is complemented by a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering, both from the University of Cincinnati, along with a High School Diploma from Lebanon High School.
