Willem de Vries

Willem de Vries has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Willem began their career as a scientific assistant at Twente University in 1975 and then worked as a scientific programmer and group leader at NIKHEF-K from 1977 to 1982. Following this, they served as the head of a software development team at Hoogovens, where they oversaw the development of standard software components for process control environments. From 1984 to 1987, they worked as a project manager and business unit manager at HAS, coordinating joint ventures between DAF Trucks and Hoogovens/HAS. Willem then joined Sun Microsystems Nederland in 1987, where they held roles such as business developer and (SAP) alliance manager.

In 2003, Willem de Vries became a senior product manager at T-Systems Netherlands, and in 2005, they worked as a senior sales consultant at Triple P Nederland BV. Willem later joined Innovatum in 2007, where they took on various roles including bid manager, product manager, business development, and sales support. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in sales, business development, product management, and project management.

Willem de Vries completed their education in two separate periods. From 1967 to 1975, they attended the University of Twente, where they earned a degree in Elektrotechniek and Informatica. Later, from 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of Amsterdam, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Social Psychology.
