Rachakan Wasontakorn

Rachakan Wasontakorn, CFA, currently serves as a Private Fund Analyst at InnovestX since February 2022. Previously, Rachakan held the position of Investment Banking Associate Director at The Quant Group from June 2017 to February 2022, contributing to significant M&A transactions, including the $11 billion acquisition of Tesco Thailand and Malaysia by CP Group and the $300 million acquisition of KFC stores by ThaiBev. Rachakan also worked as a Case Team Assistant at The Boston Consulting Group in late 2016 and interned at Coins.co.th, focusing on operations and compliance. Rachakan earned a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge in 2016 and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Cambridge in 2015, following education at Harrow International School Bangkok.
