Alex Hellawell

Alex Hellawell is a seasoned professional with expertise in innovation and technology commercialization. Currently serving as Director and Innovation Consultant at Innovia Technology since November 2010, Alex has contributed to breakthrough innovations for esteemed companies including Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson. Previous experience includes a role as Technology Commercialisation Mentor at i-Teams and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University School of Medicine, focusing on Vascular Biology and Therapeutics. Earlier positions include Supervising Natural Sciences at Trinity Hall and conducting PhD research on membrane protein structural biology at the Medical Research Council Mitochondrial Biology Unit at Cambridge University. Alex holds a PhD, MA (Hons), and MSci in Natural Sciences (Biochemistry) from the University of Cambridge.
