Gaurav Sharma

Gaurav Sharma has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Gaurav is currently serving as the Vice President Information Technology at Innoviti Payment Solutions. Prior to this, they held the position of Director at WorkFlo by OYO, where they were responsible for enabling customers to go digital in a co-working environment and implementing standardized organization roles for IT and Tech.

Before joining WorkFlo, Gaurav served as the Vice President at Lenskart.com, where they played a crucial role in building a world-class experience for both e-commerce and offline business. Gaurav was the owner of IT operations, compliance, strategy, ERP, and infrastructure.

Gaurav also had significant responsibilities at Wal-mart India as the Head of IT Security, Governance, and Vendor Management Office. During their tenure, they were responsible for IT security strategy, internal audit assessments, ISO and PCI accreditation, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning, as well as regulatory compliance initiatives and assessments.

Prior to working at Wal-mart India, Gaurav served as the Head of IT HO/EUS Operations at Bharti Wal-mart/Bharti Retail. In this role, they managed daily IT operations and security, IT strategy planning and procurement, budgetary control, IT audits, and communication across multiple offices in India. Gaurav played a key role in setting up support operations and formulating the organization structure for support.

Gaurav's earlier experience includes roles as a Team Lead and Project Manager at Computer Sciences Corporation, an IT Engineer at Hewitt Associates, a Senior Engineer at Netconnect Pvt. Ltd., and a Technical Support Engineer at Chipsoft India.

Gaurav Sharma holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Strategy and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, which they completed from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Electronics from PDVVP College of Engineering, Pune, during the period of 1994 to 1998. Gaurav also received their secondary education from Don Bosco Delhi between 1979 and 1993. In addition, they have obtained multiple certifications, including Agile Foundations, Exam Tips: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA-C02), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Scrum: The Basics, ITIL Foundation Level, Cisco Certified Network Associate Service Provider Operations (CCNA), IBM Certified Systems Administrator - Lotus Notes Domino 7, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
