Maria Sekul

Maria is Senior Patent Attorney, using her extensive experience in engineering and patent development to support Innovius across a range of activities, working with the portfolios of the partners and providing support for patent portfolio evaluation and strategic patent licensing transactions.

Before joining Innovius’ affiliate Marconi in 2019, Maria practiced as a patent attorney, both in-house and in private practice, and was previously a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office. Earlier in her career, Maria held senior telecommunications engineering roles at Samsung, MCI and Ericsson.

Maria holds a JD from the Florida State University, College of Law, and a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of South Alabama. She is registered to practice before the USPTO.
