Nikki Carter

Nikki Carter is an experienced Quality Control Manager with a strong background in microbiology and extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as QC Manager at Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics, Inc. since May 2023, Nikki previously held the same title at Entasis Therapeutics from May 2015 to May 2023, along with positions such as Senior Scientist and Scientist in Microbiology. Nikki's career began at Cubist Pharmaceuticals as a Research Associate, contributing to significant projects, including the development of automated assays that enhanced efficiency in antibiotic discovery. With additional roles spanning various companies, including EMD Serono, BioVex (acquired by Amgen), Nucryst Pharmaceuticals, Toxikon Corporation, and early experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Nikki has a well-rounded skill set in microbiological testing, laboratory management, method development, and team training. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Biology from the University of Saint Joseph and a Bachelor’s in Health Science from Merrimack College.
