Sarah McLeod

Sarah McLeod is a seasoned professional in the field of clinical microbiology, currently serving as the Senior Director of Clinical Microbiology at Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics, Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this role, Sarah held various positions at Entasis Therapeutics from August 2015 to April 2023, including Director of Medical Affairs and Associate Director of Microbiology. Sarah's extensive background in microbiology and infection discovery includes work as an Associate Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals from May 2008 to May 2015. Additionally, Sarah held academic roles as an Instructor of Medicine/Research Associate at Harvard University School of Medicine and as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at Tufts University. Sarah earned a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from UCLA and a BA in Biochemistry from Wellesley College.
