Director Of Project Management And System Engineering at Innoviz Technologies

Lior Atias has a diverse work experience in different companies and roles. Lior began their career as a Teaching Assistant for VLSI courses at Ben Gurion University in 2012. Lior then worked as a Researcher and VLSI ASIC Designer, where they gained extensive research experience and became familiar with analog custom design and advanced simulations. Lior also served as a Projects Advisor, leading two project groups and providing technical guidance and planning.

In 2015, Lior joined EnICs SOC Lab at Bar-Ilan University as a VLSI R&D Engineer, where they further enhanced their skills in RTL coding, synthesis, and design flow aspects. Lior then moved on to Mellanox Technologies as a Chip Design Engineer, gaining hands-on experience in RTL coding, advanced design practices, and all aspects of design flow.

Currently, Lior is working at Innoviz Technologies since 2017. Lior started as an ASIC Design Engineer, contributing to the development of LiDAR sensors for the Autonomous vehicle market. Lior later progressed to become a Technical Project Manager, leading multidisciplinary tasks and activities across the company's R&D. Currently, Lior holds the role of Director of Project Management and System Engineering, overseeing projects and utilizing their expertise in LiDAR sensor development.

Throughout their various roles, Lior Atias has accumulated a strong skill set, including project management, system engineering, ASIC design, and expertise in LiDAR sensor development.

Lior Atias holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computers Engineering, with a specialization in VLSI, from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, obtained in 2013. Later, from 2012 to 2014, Lior pursued a Master of Science degree in Rad-hard, low voltage, low power embedded memories and applications from the same university. Currently, Lior is studying at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology towards a PMP degree, focusing on Advanced Project Management Methodologies, expected to be completed in 2022.
