Software Engineer at Innovu

Laurent Sehabiague has a long history of professional experience in software engineering and web development. In 2019, they began working as a Software Engineer for Innovu, LLC. Prior to this, they worked as a Full Stack Developer for Freelance Web Development from 2016 to 2019. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Post-Doctoral Associate at the University of Pittsburgh, where they performed process simulations of syngas conversion into liquid fuels and power, developed Fortran subroutines to integrate new custom unit operation models into the simulation software, and authored four original research articles in peer-reviewed engineering journals and two technical reports on a $200K research project. From 2003 to 2012, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Pittsburgh, where they formulated a comprehensive model and developed a desktop application to simulate multiphase chemical reactors for the production of synthetic liquid fuels, conducted, supervised or collaborated in more than nine energy-related research projects in the field of chemical engineering, and wrote eight technical reports on two $100k+ sponsored projects and authored six research articles in peer-reviewed journals. In 2002, they worked as an Engineering Intern for bioMerieux, where they verified and improved existing errors calculation procedures for the calibration/metrology laboratory and instructed and trained technicians on the improved procedures. Lastly, they worked as an Industrial Intern for Ciba in 2000.

Laurent Sehabiague's education history includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, which they obtained between 2003 and 2012. Laurent also holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry & Chemical Engineering from CPE Lyon, which they earned between 1999 and 2003. Additionally, they have completed two Nanodegrees from Udacity, a Blockchain Developer Nanodegree in 2019 and a React Nanodegree in 2018, as well as a Full Stack Web Developer Nanodegree in 2017.
