Andrew Wingard

Staff Lidar Systems Engineer at Innovusion

Andrew Wingard has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering field. From 2021 to present, they have been a Senior Lidar Systems Engineer at Innovusion. From 2018 to 2021, they were an Instrumentation Design Engineer- Health Sensors at Apple, where they were responsible for the SpO2 sensor for Apple Watch and collaborated with teams to develop crucial sensor calibration and meet performance needs. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Senior InCell/TDDI Architect at Synaptics, where they designed and prototyped a force sensing solution with no dedicated sensor, reducing costs to customer. From 2012 to 2014, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at UC Berkeley, where they worked on projects such as prototyping a micro-columnated LHP, SiC Thin-Film Flame Ionization Sensor, machining a proper testing apparatus for a flame ionization, establishing an air-tight seal between a silicon wafer and steel port, and simulating signal amplification to test a Thermal Sensor. Also in 2012, they were an Electrical Engineering Intern at FormFactor Inc.

Andrew Wingard studied Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2014. In 2017, they attended Stanford University for one year.
