Yanmin Huang

Yanmin Huang has been working in the engineering field since 2007. Yanmin began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at AOptix Technologies in 2007. In 2012, they became a Senior Firmware Engineer at Sentient Energy, and also a Principal Engineer at Motiv Power Systems, where they were responsible for electric vehicle, motor, battery and system control, using CAN network. Yanmin also designed and implemented bootloader, and FW download thru WIFI and CAN network, as well as vehicle diagnostics and monitor system design. In 2017, they moved to Phantom AI as a Staff Engineer, and in 2018 they became a Principal Firmware Engineer at Innovusion, where they are responsible for control firmware of LiDAR system for bare metal and Linux OS, as well as SPI, I2C, UART device etc., motor and laser module communication and control.

Yanmin Huang holds a B.S in Physics from Peking University and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics from Penn State University.
