S Syed began their work experience in 2016 as a Desktop Support Engineer at T-Mobile, where they were responsible for setting up and managing user accounts, maintaining network security, and implementing maintenance plans. They then worked as a Security Operations Center Analyst at Charter Communications from September 2017 to February 2019, where they conducted proactive monitoring, analyzed security event data, and performed malware analysis. From March 2019 to January 2020, they worked as a SOC Analyst at BeyondID, handling phishing attacks, conducting analysis on files and domains, monitoring intrusion detection systems, and handling incident escalations. Currently, they work at Innowi as a Security Operations Center Analyst, where they analyze malware, manage incident responses, and perform security monitoring.

S Syed completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad from 2009 to 2013. They later pursued a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Valparaiso University, which they completed from 2013 to 2015.
