Faysal Sohail

Faysal Sohail serves as the Chairman of the Board at Our Next Energy (ONE) and has been a member of its Board of Directors since July 2020. As a Managing Director at Presidio Partners since November 2014, Faysal focuses on venture capital investments in technology and clean energy sectors. Faysal's board involvement extends to Ascend Elements, Wildcat Discovery Technologies as a Board Observer, and Foro Energy, along with Chairmanship of the Technical Advisory Board at InoBat, which develops high-performance batteries for electric mobility. Faysal has also been a Charter Member of OPEN Silicon Valley since 2004, a Founding Board Member and former Chairman of the Silicon Valley Education Foundation, and served as a General Partner at CMEA Capital before leading Cadabra Design Automation to a successful exit. Educational qualifications include a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and advanced studies at Stanford University.
