Charles Andrew Matchett

Charles Andrew Matchett is an experienced veterinarian currently serving as the Attending Veterinarian for the Southwest Region at Inotiv since June 2022. Previously, Matchett was an Associate Veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital, focusing on medical, dental, and surgical care for small animals and exotic species. Matchett held the position of Attending Veterinarian and Director of Comparative Medicine at Lovelace Biomedical from October 2015 to November 2017, overseeing the care of a variety of study animals, and earlier was part of Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute, providing clinical care and management. Matchett began as the Assistant Director for Research Resources at The Mannheimer Foundation and has held various roles in veterinary medicine since completing a Laboratory Animal Medicine Residency at Emory University School of Medicine and Yerkes National Primate Research Center. Matchett earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Maryland.
