Jaymie Voorhees

Jaymie Voorhees, PhD, currently serves as Study Director II at Inotiv since June 2022, overseeing studies focused on toxicity, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in vivo, while managing client communications, study design, protocol development, resource coordination, monitoring, data analysis, and reporting. Prior to this role, Jaymie was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis from September 2017 to June 2022, working in the Center for Clinical Pharmacology under Dr. Thomas Burris. Jaymie's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Toxicology from the University of Iowa, where research focused on adult hippocampal neurogenesis in Alzheimer's models as a Graduate Research Fellow under Dr. Andrew Pieper from August 2012 to August 2017, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Eastern Illinois University, earned in May 2010. Jaymie's earlier experience includes working as a Research Technician at Harvard Medical School from June 2010 to July 2012.
