Kevin Johnson

Kevin Johnson has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and academia. Kevin is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Inotiv since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Genentech as a Senior Scientist from March 2019 to May 2022 and as a Contract Scientist from July 2017 to March 2019. Before joining Genentech, Kevin served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University from September 2014 to June 2017. Kevin started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Missouri in January 2009 and continued in that role until September 2014. Kevin also briefly served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri from August 2009 to May 2010. Kevin's earliest work experience includes their role as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Truman State University, where they conducted research for three semesters and developed a new investigative undergraduate lab.

Kevin Johnson obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from Truman State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Kevin also holds a certification in Management and Business Principles for Scientists Module from Vanderbilt University.
