Joao Carlos Amaro Ferreira

Joao Carlos Amaro Ferreira is a seasoned professional currently serving as Research Coordinator at INOV INESC INOVAÇÃO and as a Professor at ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, alongside a role as an Integrated Researcher at the Information Sciences and Technologies and Architecture Research Centre, all positions held since September 2016. With previous experience as a Professor at ISEL - Instituto Superior De Engenharia De Lisboa until August 2016, and roles at CEIIA and Volkswagen Autoeuropa, Joao Carlos brings extensive academic and industry experience. Joao Carlos holds multiple degrees, including an Aggregation in Information Science and Technology from Iscte - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Universidade do Minho, as well as a PhD in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Telecommunications and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, and a degree in Engineering Physics Technology.
