Hua Ai

Hua Ai has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. From 1994 to 1997, they worked as a Co-Op in hardware and firmware at HUST. In 1998, they joined Huawei as an FPGA Firmware & Hardware Engineer until 2000. They then worked at Optic Communications as a Project Manager for a brief period in 2000. From 2004 to 2007, they were a System Engineer at Advanced Integrated Microsystems. In 2007, they joined INOVA Geophysical and took on various roles, including Senior FPGA Firmware Engineer from 2007 to 2012, Engineering Manager of FPGA/VHDL Firmware from 2012 to 2014, Engineering Manager of Firmware from 2014 to 2018, and most recently Director of Engineering, Cable Systems from 2018 to 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Engineering, Acquisition Systems at INOVA Geophysical, starting in October 2020.

Hua Ai completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, from 1991 to 1998, Hua Ai obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Industrial Control from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
