Balasubramanya Balasubramanya has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Balasubramanya is currently the Group Director of Operations at iNova Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, they worked at Abbott Laboratories (Singapore) Pte Ltd, where they held the positions of Director Technical Operations & Business Development - APAC and Operations Business Development Manager, EPD - APAC.

Before joining Abbott, Balasubramanya worked at iNova Pharmaceuticals (Singapore) Pte Limited as the Senior Manager, External Manufacturing and Supply & Regional Alliance Manager, as well as the Technical Manager. Balasubramanya also gained experience at iNova Pharmaceuticals Australia Pty Ltd as a New Product & Business Development Specialist.

Balasubramanya'searlier career includes positions at 3M Pharmaceuticals Ltd as a Product Development Specialist, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare as a Scientist Product Development & Innovation, Orchid Healthcare Pty Ltd as a Senior Executive - Product Development, and Ranbaxy Laboratories as a Senior Production Supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Throughout their career, Balasubramanya has been involved in various aspects of pharmaceutical operations, including technical transfers, troubleshooting, supply continuity, risk management, and business development. Balasubramanya has successfully led remediation and relaunch projects, as well as the setup of regional innovation hubs. Balasubramanya has also been responsible for managing strategic sourcing initiatives, contract manufacturing alliances, and new product development.

Balasubramanya Balasubramanya has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Adelaide, which they obtained in 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Pharmacy degree from M.S University of Baroda in 1991, specializing in Pharmaceutical Product Development. Balasubramanya'sBachelor's degree in Pharmacy was obtained from Bangalore University in 1989.
