Uwe Thimel

Uwe Thimel is a highly experienced professional in UX design and creative leadership, currently serving as the Chief Creative Officer at inovex GmbH since January 2025. Uwe has been an Associate Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Karlsruhe since March 2015, focusing on interactive projects and UX design methodology. Uwe operates a UX Design and Consulting firm, offering human-centered design solutions to enterprises since December 2014. Previously, Uwe held the position of Executive Creative Director at EXXETA AG and has lectured in digital media marketing and screen design. Uwe has an extensive background in leadership roles at 1&1 Internet AG, kuehlhaus AG, and Solute GmbH, with a solid educational foundation from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where Uwe earned a degree in architecture and urban planning.
