Robert J. Juba Jr. is the Vice President of Biological Manufacturing and Clinical Supply Management at Inovio Pharmaceuticals. Robert has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

Robert started their career as a Technical Advisor for Bacterial Vaccine Manufacturing at Merck, where they worked for 11 years. Robert then became the Senior Director of Manufacturing at VGX Pharmaceuticals and VGXI, Inc., where they were responsible for contract manufacturing of biological and pharmaceutical clinical products.

In 2009, they joined Merck as the Network Strategy & Execution Manager, where they were responsible for network strategy for bulk vaccine manufacturing. Robert was a founding member of the Single-Use Council. Robert left Merck in 2011 to join Inovio Pharmaceuticals.

Robert J. Juba Jr. has a Master of Science (MS) in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Robert also attended Passaic Valley Regional High School.

They work with Jacqueline Shea - Chief Operating Officer, EJ Brandreth - Vice President, Quality Assurance, and Jean D. Boyer - Vice President, Analytical Sciences. Their manager is J. Joseph Kim, President & CEO.
