Gustavo Mariano

Gustavo Mariano is an experienced trading professional specializing in ethanol and biofuels, with a career spanning over a decade. As Trading Vice President at Inpasa Brasil from July 2021 to August 2024, Gustavo managed the Ethanol trading desk, overseeing imports and exports along with internal market operations in Brazil, leading a team of over 15 employees, and handling a significant ethanol volume of 2.1 million cubic meters in 2022. Prior to this role, Gustavo served as COO and Trader at Inergy Trading, focusing on new ethanol projects in Brazil, and has held positions at BWI Trading, ED&F Man, and Grupo Agemar. Notably, at ED&F Man, Gustavo captured 5% of the CIF delivery of fuel ethanol to Brazil within nine months and exceeded trading volume targets significantly in the first year.
