Juan Porta Trinidad

Juan Porta Trinidad is an experienced software engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails, currently serving as a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Inpay since July 2022. Previously, Juan held positions as a Backend Software Engineer at Teladoc Health and as a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer and Android Team Leader at Softwhisper. With an extensive background in academia, Juan worked as a lecturer and researcher at the University of A Coruna for over 15 years. Additionally, Juan co-founded Smart GalApps, serving as CTO from September 2011 to November 2016. Juan completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Ingeniería informática at Universidade da Coruña, where earlier studies included a Diploma de Estudios Avanzados in Information Technologies and a degree in Ingeniería Informática.
