Chris Spicer

Chris Spicer is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Head of Finance at INPEX Corporation since November 2022, Chris manages the finance function for the Moray East offshore wind farm. Prior to this role, Chris held the position of Head of Finance & Compliance at Mitsubishi Corporation, where the focus was also on the Moray East project. From February 2015 to July 2022, Chris worked at National Grid, progressing to Senior Finance Manager for US Onshore Renewables and serving as Head of Finance for Interconnectors, partnering directly with the Interconnectors Managing Director. Earlier experience includes roles at APX-ENDEX, National Grid YouPlan Trustee Limited, MidlandHR, and Reckitt Benckiser. Chris holds several relevant qualifications, including a Certificate in International Treasury Management from the Association of Corporate Treasurers, CIMA certification, and a degree in Digital Business, Computer Science, and Economics from the University of Nottingham.
