Marcin Szamotulski is a mathematician working as a programmer. He is interested in categorical Galois theory, abstract algebra, and game theory. He is a contributor to the PureScript compiler and has been adding features to the popular Vim text editor. Marcin studied at the College of Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Warsaw University, focusing on physics, mathematics and psychology. He holds a PhD in mathematics from the Technical University of Lisbon and joined IOHK in 2017.
