Paolo Penna

Paolo Penna is a Research Fellow at Input Output (IOHK) since June 2023, with prior experience as a Data Science Teacher at Le Wagon from November 2022 to June 2023. Paolo has held several roles at ETH Zürich, including Senior Researcher in the Institute of Machine Learning and the Institute of Theoretical Computer Science (2015-2022) and multiple positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher between 2011 and 2015. Research expertise includes machine learning, energy-efficient algorithms, mechanism design, social networks, and distributed game dynamics. Paolo earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from Sapienza Università di Roma from 1996 to 2000.
